status of shared repo in ODA is unknown and cannot find all VMs

Dear Erman,

I have A problem in ODA Server..
12.1.2.4.0
VM-ODA_BASE ODA X4-2

I was cloning Two VMs , I opened 2 sessions and cloned the 2 VMs in parallel

After the cloning , the status of all shared repo in unknown then I reboot the ODA.

After rebooting the ODA " both nodes " the status of all shared repositories still unknown and cannot find ANY VM I created !!.. and cannot find the repo files at dom0 and dom1.

you may be hitting a bug.
Check this:Oracle Database Appliance - 12.1.2 and 2.X Supported ODA Versions & Known Issues (Doc ID 888888.1)
Section:Known Issued for ODA Releases 12.1.2.4.0

it talks about a known issue:

After restarting CRS, shared repos become UNKNOWN and HAVIP was offline.
Workaround: Start the HAVIP manually "srvctl start havip -id havip_0" and kill the oakVmAgent.py on dom0, then lazy unmounted the dom0 repos using 'umount -l <mount_points>' .


If your problem is not resolved after reviewing this, update me.

Also , you can try restarting oakd , wait a little bit (2 mins-5 mins) and then try to check the repos.
oakcli restart oak
wait(sometimes it takes a while for oak to do its work)
oakcli show repo

Sendme the output of following:

oakcli show vm
oakcli show repo
df -kh
crsctl stat res -t -init
crsctl stat res -t
asmcmd volinfo -a
/sbin/acfsutil registry -l
oakcli show ismaster

from ODA_BASE send me the logs: $GRID_HOME/crsdata/<hostname>/acfs/*
command output : /sbin/acfsutil info fs

Send me the following log files as well

From oda base:
/opt/oracle/oak/log/<node name>/odabaseagent/odabaseagent*
from dom0:
/opt/oracle/oak/log/<node name>-dom0/oakvmagent/*

second, Kindly be informed that the issue is fixed.

the problem was that in Node1 ,
in oda_base /u01 was full then I cleaned up the directory
in dmo1 /OVS was also full then I cleaned up the directory

then I restart the ODA , both nodes , then issue is fixed

Hello, I've got the same problem. Can you please detail how to restart ODA?

Shutdown all of the following in order (as appropriate)
agents  
applications (including VMs and then the Repos )

If you do not have agents or applications:

databases       -- e.g. srvctl stop database –d orcl
CRS                -- As 'root' pointing to the ASM environment:     #crsctl stop crs
OS                  -- init 6 -- reboot
