upgrade from 12c to 19c

Hello Erman,

I am planning to upgrade Oracle database from 12.1.0.2 to 19c. Will it have any impact on Goldengate which is currently running (v 18.1)? Is the licensing costlier?

Do you think Kudu is better for Analytical queries than Oracle?

I dont have that expertise on Kudu. So dont wanna mislead you.

As for Goldengate why do you suspect that license costs may be higher ?
What license model do you follow for that right know?

Will DB license will be higher if we use DB 19c?

I m not a salesperson, but I can tell you that there won't be any difference in terms of database licensing.
The license fees change according to the editions not versions.
