test mailer

Hello,
 
test mailer is failing for a user. What could be the possible cause?

what you mean test mailer?

Please open your threads carefully and with details.

I think you mean, notification mailer.
1)So, users email address may not be correct (check docs for controlling this.)
2)user mail preference may be "Don't send email" .. (check docs for controlling this.)

Hello Erman,

thanks for the tips. The system is now able to send email to the user after I set it to HTML mail in the preferences.

Is there a profile option I have to set at site level because there many users having this issue.

No there is not. You ll have to update the revelant users but you can do it from backend.

I had modified the tables wf_local_roles  and fnd_user_preferences. But I did a backup. How can overwrite the current tables?

You can use flashback query or flashback table basically, if you want to restore your changes.
