Check its database session and see its waits. According to the waits, thinkk about tuning areas.
Also check oracle support for performance patches and recommendations using the name of the activity ( posting ledger in this case)
Lastly , talk with the functional team of yours and ensure that they are doing the right things.

There is 1 Posting Ledger which contains 7142 lines. It takes 3-4 hours to complete. Can you please suggest what shall we do to make this Posting run faster?
Is there some tuning we need to do?
