patch 18260550 patch for ebd upgrade to 12.2.4

I think you did not apply the oracle database patch 18260550 for the upgrade to 12.2.4.

is there any reason for that?

Hi John,

The patch seems to be related with a specific ORA-00600 issue.
The reason may be that the patch was not there in document 1594274.1 when I was doing that upgrade. The document seems to be updated often. Last update was in 08-Sep-2015.

You better apply it if you are doing an upgrade in these days..

One time, 2 months ago, that document was updated even while we are upgrading an environment.
So watch out for it :)
