database restart - linux error

Roshan
Red Hat Linux 7
Oracle Database 12.1.0.2

Hi,

I have noticed that after an upgrade of memory(currently 192 GB), the database has become unstable: it restarts automatically.

I checked the alert log file and the messages are os related.

Please find attached.
openfiledescalertlog.txt

Kindly advise to what value should I set the open file descriptor.

Regards,

Roshan

Also increase your open file descriptor limit..

Also ensure your shared memory related kernel parameter are modified according to your new memory size.
