Inst_Top purging in R12.1.3

Dear Erman,

Hope you are fine there , wants to ask one query regarding my production environment.

We are using ebs 12.1.3 environment and inst_top size are very high.

Today  i have found that there is one directory whose size is more then 300GB.

cd /u02/oracle/PROD/inst/apps/PROD_prodapp12/ora/10.1.2

under this below are the directories available.

[oracle@prodapp12 10.1.2]$ ls -ltr

we have found in forms directory are occupied more then 300 GB space.

it has all core files , started with January 2019, is it secure to remove that core files.

All files are around 50 mb each.

They may be related with frmweb.
Check by following the MOS note -> HOW TO HANDLE CORE DUMPS ON UNIX (Doc ID 1007808.6) To

You may be hitting that bug documented in the following MOS note.
R12: Frequent frmweb core files created in $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.2/forms (frmweb core dumps) (Doc ID 1194383.1)

core dumps are safe, you can delete them.
Zip them (for making them available in case of a future analysis) and then delete.

Dear Erman,

Thanks for your reply, i have found that every 2 minutes core files are generated very rapidly & each files are 50 mb approx.

kindly assist us to stop this generation.
