Adop phase=prepare failed on External nodes.

Hi Erman,

Hope you are doing well.

I have created a new environment by taking a clone. Now i want to test a patch on it. it has total three nodes. 1 master and 2 slave nodes as external, one for irecruitment and other is for isupplier.

i tried fs_clone which completed successfully on all nodes. But when i try to run adop phase=prepare, it completed successfully on master node but failed on slave nodes.

On checking adop.log from slave nodes, i found below error.

[EVENT] Running Autoconfig on patch edition file system.
[PROCEDURE] [START 2024/01/31 00:19:19] Running Autoconfig
[UNEXPECTED] Error occured running “sh //adcomfig.sh contextfile=….
trimming log…..
[UNEXPECTED] Error calling runPendingClone subroutine.
[ERROR] Prepare phase has failed.
[STATEMENT] SQL statement: “ update ad_adop_sessions set=‘F’
where adop_session_id = 36 and appltop_id= 5199 and node=‘d2ebsapdmulv3’”

adconfig.log file shows only below error in the end

Autoconfig is exiting with status 1

Autoconfig could not successfully execute the following scripts.
Directory: /oraerp/oracle/fs1/inst/apps/EBSUAT_context/admin/install
mwamscasvc.sh       INSTE8_PRF

if i try to run autocofig without adop on slave nodes it completed successfully. But when i try with adop phase=prepare from master node, autoconfig fails on slave nodes during prepare phase.

please advise how we can fix this issue.

prepare say -> [UNEXPECTED] Error occured running “sh //adconfig.sh .. So it is related with the autoconfig.
Why did the mwamscasvc.sh fail? Check the autoconfig log for that, and send me your findings about it.

If you see something like "/bin/sh: error importing function definition for `which'", then you may -> unset which, and then retry adop phase=prepare..

If this is not the issue, then we will check according to your inputs.

Thanks alot. Issue has been resolved after unsetting the variables in /etc/bashrc

unset which
unset module
unset _module_raw
unset switchml
unset scl
unset ml
