Adop Prepare Has Failed With adclone.pl Error

I modified the Node Manager password for Weblogic and now I am getting the error below:

[STATEMENT] Please run adopscanlog utility, using the command

to get the list of the log files along with snippet of the error message corresponding to each log file.

I restarted application instance after setting the Node Manager password. Now adop prepare phase is working.

It seems, your password was still wrong.

The cause was:" The steps to change the password of the Node Manager were not complete."

For future;

important: If you need to change the Administration User password,
you must change the Node Manager password first. If you do not do
this, the WebLogic Server configuration change will not be detected and the next online patching cycle may fail

Actually, restarting all the services is not required, only admin server restart (maybe+ managed server restart) should be enough.

Thanks for the tips Erman :)
On a test instance, I did a new clone. I did not down the application services when copying EBSapps on the patch edition folder.
I successfully run all the adop phases.
Do you have any idea?

I am facing the same problem, and did what you mentionned about the node manager password file, but still getting the adop prepare phase FAILED.
