AD login

Hello Erman,

we access Impala through an application called Hue. Login works using AD. I noticed login was not working. I reset pasword on AD server but still login failed. Logs showed:

'Authentication failed for [e-mail] failed to map the username to a CN.

Kindly advise.

Impala or Hue is not in my focus.
But it seems you have a configuration issue.. It seems you are trying to configure HUE with LDAP Directory ( Microsoft AD in your case)..

*Check your configuration file. Probably you have a wrong setting for AD.. especially in the ldap search-related configuration lines.
